This is an Ercol Smoker's Chair. In the UK, it is also known as a cowhorn chair because the backrest is beautifully carved into a streamlined shape like a cow's horn. There is also a lounge type with a lower seat, but this is a standard seat height that can be used as a dining chair. This is one of Ercol's most popular products, and the armrests, which are not too prominent, are particularly comfortable. We think you will appreciate the convenience and comfort of having armrests when you are using it casually.
