Wheelback chair purchased in the UK. The backrest has a distinctive wheel relief. This chair is made of a single piece of elm wood with beautiful grain. This simple classic style chair can be incorporated into a variety of interior styles. This is a valuable chair with the stamp Utility Furniture CC41. Utility Furniture CC41 stands for Civilian Clothing 1941, and is called the "Utility Mark". In order to alleviate the shortage of materials during World War II, a saving standard was set for furniture, textiles, footwear, etc., and the mark was placed on products that passed strict inspections. This stamp means that the product is a miraculous product that survived the harsh times of war.
